Double in the loop - Refill friction stir spot welding developed

Stir4Steel successfully managed to developed a smart refill friction stir spot welding solution for various material combinations. To make it happen required material surface pre-treatments as well as required process windows have been elaborated and tested. Evaluation of these tests, such as metallurgical, mechanical, and surface properties including for both single-spot and multi-spot joint configuration, show promising results. Want to know more?
